The very history of PCW can be charted back to the year 2001 as we opened our doors and we quickly had a cult following. Our members loved that fact that we were willing to work with them on anything and everything. Our first show was Friday Night Meltdown and after our first show we grew bigger and better as a federation.
Through the year 2001 PCW had great success but that wasn’t to say we didn’t have people looking to take us down. Three former members opened there own federation and tried to take us down but we stood tall and by the end of 2001 we were one of the most talked about federations on MSN.
Our first ever PPV was dubbed Anarchy Rulez in which we saw Vince McMahon & Sting take on Slade Craven in a handicap Hell in a Cell match retaining the PCW U.S. Title. The history of the PCW World Championship is one that saw only a few men hold it more then once. One of those men was Slade Craven while the other was Mike Foxx. Other title holders included Goldberg Scott Rock & Assassin.
The most infamous match ever in PCW was the War Games match and that match only took place at one event and that event was none other then Heroes 2 Legends. The PCW World title was on the line in that match. The eight men that would be involved in that match were Slade Craven Ken Shamrock Bubba Ray Dudley Kane Reckless Scott Steiner & the PCW World Champion “Main Event” Mike Foxx. Between that match & the Anarchy Cell PCW had established it’s self as the federation to be part of.
But as everyone knows all good things have to come to an end and that’s exactly what happened. In the year 2004 PCW finally folded after some internal issues as the company was sold off with all of the staff members getting there shares and walking away.
Now six years later two of the founding members have brought there stock back in the company in the hopes of relaunching this once proud company and giving the fans in the state of Texas something to cheer about once again.
